Quiet Time Doodles

I continued reading yesterday’s prayer from Guerrillas of Grace today. My quiet time started like this

But I was able to get to this:

Now I had more notes but for some reason that I can figure or fix they’re not included.

I pondered and prayed for open eyes and ears to follow. But the linkage of justice and joy truly made me pause. Not two things I would naturally associate. Would you?

I think often about justice—Micah 6:8 is one of my foundation verses: do justice, the right thing, the equitable thing…the God thing.

And joy. I think I long for joy the way I sense others long for peace. But I think I’ll ponder that a while longer before I try to put it here in a way that makes sense to both of us.

Guess I’ll be back soon.
